A low-cut model in bio-washed canvas material with added water repellency. An enzymatic washing process softens the canvas of No. 8 canvas and makes it more comfortable for the feet. The water-repellent finish makes it easy to wear even on rainy days. This is a reliable pair for daily use as well as for sudden weather changes.

When leather feels heavy, reach for the SP-1057.
The SP-1057 is one of the shoes Spingle is known for. We start with No.8 canvas, woven with a coarse, open grain, then wash it until it turns soft and gives a little against your foot. It resists water, so a sudden rain shower beads off and dirt has a harder time settling. A canvas sneaker that feels light on the foot and easy to wear.

The No.8 canvas is treated to resist water, so a sudden rain beads off and dirt has trouble taking hold. Washing the fabric is what makes it feel like Spingle: even in canvas, it settles onto your foot from the first step and wraps it from the moment you put it on.
A breathable lining that wears cool.
Inside, a soft lining lets air move, so your foot stays cool through a long day. When leather feels like too much, this is the pair you reach for: lighter to look at, cooler to wear.
90 years of skill, and a sole you can repair.
We have built shoes in Fuchu City, Hiroshima since 1933, adjusting the last and pattern to fit the Japanese foot. The outsole cushions, flexes, and lasts, and it can be repaired. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. That is what comes of making it by hand ourselves in Fuchu.
