As part of the "Urban Outdoor" concept for the 2021 Fall/Winter season, we are releasing the "SPM-182," which uses flame-retardant material that is ideal for bonfires.
In keeping with Spingle's style, these shoes are not purely outdoor shoes, but are designed to be worn comfortably in everyday life, making them sneakers that you can wear regularly and also when camping.

Many campers wear flame-retardant clothing and pants in preparation for the bonfire, which is the best part of camping, but why not enjoy the bonfire wearing flame-retardant sneakers all the way down to your feet?

What are flame retardant materials?

This is a process that applies flame retardant to flammable fibers, and SPM-182 uses a flame-retardant material called PROBAN from the Belgian company SOLVAY. PROBAN is a 100% cotton fabric that has been specially processed, and is the only 100% cotton flame-retardant material in Japan. Even though it is a flame-retardant material, it does not look baggy, and you can wear it while maintaining a beautiful silhouette.

Add some color to your feet, which tend to be dark

Many flame-retardant items are dark in tone, so we deliberately chose this color scheme by using lighter colors to add color to your feet.

As a Japanese sneaker manufacturer, we have been particular about comfort since our founding, and the SPM-182 is no exception, offering the same gentle, enveloping fit that is characteristic of Spingle.
The insole is the same as that used in our representative product SPM-110, and is of course made using the vulcanization method.
