Goodwalkin Ueda x SPINGLE "goodwalkin SPINGLE" collaboration model

Five collaboration sneakers, born from the collaboration channel "good walkin SPINGLE" with comedian Good Walkin Ueda, are available in limited quantities of 100 pairs each. Ueda, who is known not only as a sneaker comedian but also as a fashionista, has applied his free-spirited imagination and sensibility to the popular canvas model "SPM-141" to "food" themes such as omelet rice and spaghetti Napolitana.

The designs that Ueda came up with have been faithfully reproduced, including the upper, tape lines, and piss name. The embroidery of Ueda's design on the tongue of each model is finished with a cuteness that looks like it was hand-embroidered.

It was difficult to reproduce Ueda's hand embroidery using machines for mass production, but after meeting with Kyoto embroidery studio Duomo Co., Ltd., which has advanced embroidery processing techniques, and after repeated meetings and prototypes, they succeeded in "reproducing the finish of hand embroidery using machine embroidery." This is how the collaborative sneakers were completed.

All models come with special edition insoles featuring the goodwalkin SPINGLE logo and original stickers based on Ueda's design drawings.

■SPM-141 Omelet rice

The yellow upper and red shoelaces of the "Omurice" catch the eye. The red of the ketchup and the green of the garnish are used for the tape lines. The different colored lines on the tape are also a specialty of Spingle's own factory.

■SPM-141 Curry rice

Everyone loves curry rice. Curry roux sole, rice upper. Fukujinzuke pennant. The yellow tape is reminiscent of potatoes.

■SPM-141 Hamburger

The upper features a fox-colored bun, while the tongue features lettuce. This hamburger model features Spingle's No. 8 sole with its wavy pattern resembling a patty. Cheese is featured in the color of the shoelaces and tape.

■SPM-141 Neapolitan

Spaghetti Napolitan. The orange-dyed spaghetti is made with shoe laces. The bell peppers are decorated with green eyelets and a pin label. The overall color scheme is inspired by the Italian flag.

■SPM-141 Denim

The upper is made of dark blue denim fabric produced by Shinohara Textile, a textile company in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which boasts the largest denim production in Japan. It can be washed in water and the color fades. The stitching is reminiscent of denim pants, and the "good walkin" embroidery, shoelaces, and outsole are all red, designed by Ueda.

Born in 1980. From Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. A comedian affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo. His special skill is being able to name sneakers when he sees them. He once appeared on "Ame Talk!" (TV Asahi) as a sneaker comedian and talked about Spingle, which led to a collaboration with Spingle. Since 2022, he has been the main MC of the YouTube channel "good walkin SPINGLE".
In 2017, he started his own embroidered cap line "goodwalkin" as an "embroidery comedian". In 2020, he published "Hima Tsubu Embroidery" (Okura Publishing), proving his activities go beyond the scope of a comedian.

To commemorate the launch, the "GWS POPUP STORE" will be open for two days only on April 15th (Sat) and 16th (Sun) at the "SPINGLE MOVE stage.01 Kichijoji" store. Good Walkin' Ueda will be in the store on both days and will be selling the collaboration sneakers. In addition, Ueda will be selling original goods hand-embroidered by himself, and will also be taking orders for hand-embroidered hats (for a fee).
